This gives the advantage of being able to add a little bit at a time to the secondary fermenter, and being able to add to taste.
* Dried/Dehydrated - Make sure they are oil and sulfur free. Oils can be considered a processing aid, and don't have to be listed on the ingredients list.
* Zest - the zest (outer layer) of citrus fruit is often used in beer. It is often added to the end of the boil, but tinctures can also be made and added after or during fermentation, or citrus zest can be added to the beer directly.
