ASBC Modification Using Only Mass

The ASBC method requires both an accurate measurement for both beer measurement volume and density. Depending on the quality of lab equipment available, these numbers measurements can have varying variable error bars. In general, more accurate mass scales are more affordable than similarly accurate volume or density instruments; therefore, only using the beer/and acid mass will lead to a more consistent measurement.
