Let's say we have 50 mL of mildly tart , uncarbonated beer, which has a Specific Gravity of 1.010. It took 12.2 mL of 0.1 N NaOH to get to a pH of 8.2.
:TA = (12.2 * 0.9) / (50 * 1.010) = 10.98 / 50.5 = 0.217% TA (or 0.217 g/100mL) = 2.17 g/L
