====Moving To New Facility====
At times brewers are faced with the challenge of moving barrels full of beer to a new facility. Some brewers recommend emptying the barrels into totes and purging the head space with CO<sub>2</sub>. Others recommend using a forklift to carefully move the barrels still on racks into the truck, and gently drive the barrels to the new location. Once the barrels are set in place at the new facility, purge the headspace of the barrels with CO<sub>2</sub>. Moving full barrels can be risky to the beer by introducing oxygen and potentially unsafe to workers. Use caution.
